MTC Australia is an approved New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) provider funded by the Department of Employment. The NEIS program provides assistance to eligible job seekers to become self-supporting and independent from Centrelink by helping them establish and run of their own small business.
Quite simply, we help eligible job seekers to turn their business idea into their own small business!
If you’re interested in the NEIS program, follow the five simple steps below:
- Attend an MTC Australia NEIS program information session.
- Submit a completed NEIS application form and Business Feasibility Study to the NEIS team. After we receive your application, the NEIS mentor will review your eligibility and review the completed Business Feasibility Study to determine commercial viability.
- Complete training in Certificate III in Micro Business Operations. During the training program you will develop your business idea and prepare a business plan.
- Your Business plan will be reviewed by the NEIS team and once it is approved you will start on the NEIS business mentoring phase of the program.
- Begin your business!
