The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification is targeted at early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in the early childhood education and care sector. Successful completion of this course may lead to career opportunities as a centre manager or authorised supervisor (children’s services), childhood educator, children’s services director/manager, childhood educator, early childhood educator or children’s services coordinator.
Who is it For?
There are no entry requirements for this course, although we recommend that students have language, literacy and numeracy skills at ACSF Level 3–4.
How it Works
The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is delivered via a combination of face-to-face and distance-based learning, and is comprised of 23 core and 5 elective units (28 units of competency in total).
