Need help with finding a job, or with hiring a new staff member in Sydney? Look no further than jobactive, a government-funded program delivered by MTC Australia that helps people find work and assists employers with finding ideal candidates for their needs.
MTC has been providing quality employment services to the Greater Sydney region for more than 30 years, so you’ll be working with an experienced, dedicated team that will help you achieve your employment or business goals.
jobactive is an Australian Government-funded program that helps participants find work through identifying their individual needs and goals, developing employability and industry-specific skills, participating in work experience, finding suitable roles and engaging in ongoing support.
Customers who are receiving an income support payment through Centrelink, such as JobSeeker, Youth Allowance or Parenting Payment, are eligible for the jobactive employment program. To participate in jobactive, customers must also meet mutual obligation requirements.
Customers who aren’t on income support may still be eligible to enrol on a voluntary basis, depending upon their circumstances.
All employers who are interested in hiring through jobactive are able to kick-start the process by contacting a program provider in their area. Take a look at our jobactive for employers page if you’re interested in hiring.
