Our Leadership Team

Our Executive Leadership Team is led by the Chief Executive Officer Colin Lloyd. The team is made up of our Employment Services, Education and Training, Marketing and Business Development and Youth and Community Divisions, along with our Chief Financial Officer, General Manager – People and Culture (HR) and Chief Information Officer.

Colin Lloyd
Chief Executive Officer

Colin has been the CEO of MTC Australia since September 2011. As CEO, he is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of MTC Australia. Prior to joining MTC, Colin held senior executive positions with responsibility across a range of disciplines including strategic planning, employee relations, human resource management, and line management responsibility. He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and a Masters Degree in Labour Law.

Jeff Watson
Chief Financial Officer

Jeff joined MTC in May 2017 as a finance executive with varied experience in multinational, public and private companies. Jeff has held senior executive positions across a broad range of sectors and has extensive international and domestic experience. His range of responsibility has included CFO functions in large, medium and SME organisations, treasury and capital management, large project financing, investor and key stakeholder relations. Jeff also has a history in structuring, restructuring and rebuilding the foundation blocks for organisations. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNSW, is a CPA, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Daniel Johnson
Chief Information Officer

Daniel has over 17 years’ experience in  the IT industry across a range of industries including Performing Arts, Government, Logistics and Finance. Most recently, Daniel worked for the Sydney Opera House leading the IT team through significant change and transformation programs. These programs included operational IT processes, major CRM upgrades and finance system consolidation. Daniel has recently completed his Master of Business Administration.

Martin Keil
General Manager - Youth & Community

Martin joined MTC Australia in 2001. As a skilled educator, Martin has led and grown a number of MTC divisions, including Community Employment Programs and Education and Training. Martin currently manages the Youth and Community division, in addition to driving our focus on ‘giving back’ to the community, through initiatives for disadvantaged youth and families, funded by our annual surplus.

Lisa Lillis
General Manager - Education & Training

Lisa joined MTC Australia in 2003 where she led the Education and Training Division for nine years and set the foundations for both the Language, Literacy and Numeracy and VET divisions. Since then, she has led a number of other divisions as General Manager of the Employment Services and Acting General Manager of MTC Recruitment. Through her knowledge of working in other divisions within MTC, she is now back leading the Education & Training Division.

Elena Shestovsky
General Manager - Marketing & Business Development

Having recently joined MTC, Elena is responsible for leading the establishment of MTC’s new marketing and business development function. During her 15 years as a marketer, Elena has led teams to deliver impactful marketing, customer engagement and digital sales programs for large global and mid sized companies across a variety of industries, including management consultancy, B2B services, eCommerce and retail. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communications.

Joanna Mallon
General Manager - People & Culture

Joanna joined MTC Australia in June 2015.  Her role is responsible for developing and leading organisational and employee programs that cover workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention, reward and recognition, learning and development and health, safety and wellbeing. Joanna has more than 15 years’ experience in human resource management across the manufacturing, retail, financial services and not-for-profit sectors.

Peter Abibadra
General Manager - Employment Services

Peter has in-depth knowledge and experience within the employment services industry dating back to 2002.  Peter has been with MTC Australia for 8 years as both a Branch Manager and Regional Coach. His current position as General Manager involves driving the highest levels of customer service to ensure the best possible out comes for our job seekers, whilst also driving sites to remain financially viable and maintaining MTC’s five star rating.
