You are eligible for Disability Employment Services if you:
- have a permanent disability, injury or health condition;
- are aged between 14 years to qualifying age pension
- Can work minimum of 8 hours per week;
- are an Australian resident or eligible visa holder;
- are not studying full time
- are an eligible school leaver
Our track record of success
Daniel is 21 and lives with epilepsy. He was finding it hard to get a job and wanted to pursue his passion for Interior Design. He signed up for Disability Employment Services with MTC Australia so he could work towards his goals.
With support from us, Daniel is now working as an Office Administrator while he studies interior design at TAFE.
Abeer is a single mum of four children and lives with high anxiety. As a result, she was finding it challenging to work and support her children, so she joined MTC Australia’s Disability Employment Services program to help her overcome her struggles.
Abeer now works at a cafe where they understand her situation and care about her needs.
Mona has lived with depression since her husband passed away with dementia. She found it difficult to return to work, which worsened her depression. When she was referred to our Disability Employment Services program, she had lost all hope of finding a job.
Mona now works at MTC Australia and loves coming in to work.
Malek is 18 and lives with an intellectual disability. He joined our Disability Employment Services program with the hope of finding sustainable employment and wanted nothing more than to work at a car wash, just like his brother.
With help from MTC, Malek now works at his dream job and has a goal of opening his own business with his brother.
