Our track record of success

“Due to my family circumstances, I was suffering from bad memories and trouble focusing. I didn’t feel comfortable/confident to work. My challenge was, I am from Somalia and my English language was limited. Before I didn’t know how to use transports, how to call or send a message to book any appointments because I didn’t have self-confidence. This course opened the door for me. Now, I’m so confident to continue my studying in Cert II in Community Services. The class was wonderful.”

“Rumana joined MTC Australia’s SEE Pathways to Job Readiness course. Her main goal was to gain new skills as she didn’t have a resume or the knowledge of how to apply for jobs. In her first week of attending class, Rumana was surprised by how much relevant information and skills she learned. Not only was she improving her job skills, but she was soon seeking further learning opportunities! She successfully enrolled in two separate courses that allowed her to become one step closer to her dream job. “I would like to thank MTC for the help and all the support they have provided. The job skills course has changed my life. My big dream is to open a restaurant, and I will invite all MTC staff.”
