Help your customer start their small business
Self-Employment Assistance (formerly NEIS) is designed to give your customer the support they need to create and run a successful small business. This program offers customers the opportunity to undertake and engage in the following:
New business training
After a Business Coach has reviewed your customer’s business idea to see if it’s feasible, they will advise them on which training is best suited to their needs. This may include:
- BSB30220 Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business (13 weeks)
- BSBSS00103 New Business Ventures Skill Set (8 weeks)
- BSBSS00102 Micro Business Skill Set (6 weeks)
Once your customer completes any of these training options, they will have a business plan to move to the next phase of their self-employment journey.
Our flexible training program gives your customer the option to attend their business classes either in person or online at a time that suits them, allowing them to fit their training around other commitments.
Ongoing business support
Your customer will receive one-on-one Small Business Coaching throughout the first year of establishing their new business. Note – Small Business Coaching is subject to the approval of your customer’s business plan.
Contact MTC Australia should your customer require direct assistance with their business plan.
Your customer may also be eligible for additional services to support their new business once they complete their Small Business Coaching. These flexible, tailored options include:
- Business health checks: This option is suitable for customers who want to understand the financial health of their business and how they can ensure its long-term profitability.
- Business advice sessions: This option is suitable for customers who require tailored business advice and is open to Eligible Business Owners and former Participants after completing their Small Business Coaching.
